Sofía has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology specializing in Archaeology from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Chile. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in economics and international law of Climate Change at FLACSO Argentina. She is the director of the Energy Transition Laboratory in Argentina. Her focus is on the research area of climate change, policies, and energy transition.
